Chelsea have warned assistant manager Jody Morris over his social media use.

Morris hit the headlines for posting a video on his Instagram story last week mocking former manager Jose Mourinho in response to comments made by the Portuguese boss about the Blues.

The Daily Mail says Chelsea believe some of his activity is inappropriate for a senior member of coaching staff.

He has been asked to show more restraint moving forwards, although they have no plans to ban him from social media.

Morris, who played over 100 games for Chelsea between 1996 and 2003, returned to Stamford Bridge to begin his coaching career in the youth system after retiring in 2013.
