Chelsea hope to include Fernando Torres in their bid for Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa.
The Daily Express says Diego Costa Blues boss Jose Mourinho's top target to spearhead a strike force that will include Romelu Lukaku when the Belgian returns from his loan spell at Everton.
As a result, Chelsea's opening offer is likely to be £30m plus Torres, who moved to England from Atletico seven years ago and remains a big hero there.
Torres, whose confidence has dipped dramatically at Chelsea this season, would love to go 'home' to resurrect his career at both club and international level.
