Brentford defender Henrik Dalsgaard hopes that Said Benhrama can put them into the Premier League.

Reports are linking Benhrama with a move to the top division, with Aston Villa and more recently Chelsea interested.

But his teammates at Brentford are hoping that he can put them into the Premier League through the playoffs.

The Bees are fourth and ten points off automatic promotion, but should secure a playoff spot.

Asked if Benrahma's future was a distraction, Dalsgaard said, per the Evening Standard: "No.

"He knows that if he is to go to any other club at some point then he needs to perform at Brentford.

"Why not shine now and make sure we go to the Premier League?

"And then maybe he doesn't have to change teams to play in the Premier League."
