Chelsea striker Dominic Solanke is happy with his loan experience at Vitesse Arnhem.

Solanke is on a season-long deal with the Eredivisie outfit and is already off the mark.

"I always wanted to score goals - ever since I was a young boy," he told Voetbal International.

"I'm glad I get a chance to develop here. I think it is an honor that Chelsea has determined that my loan period at Vitesse is a better step than a loan playing for a lower English club.

"I chose to join Vitesse because I can really show what I can do."
