Chelsea striker Costa wants Atletico Madrid return - Cerezo

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has indicated that Diego Costa is eager to return to the club this summer.

The fiery Chelsea attacker has been heavily linked with the Spanish club he left in 2014 over the past few months but it is understood incoming Blues boss Antonio Conte wants to keep him at Stamford Bridge.

However, Atleti chef Cerezo was reportedly caught saying the 27-year-old Brazil-born Spain international wants to return to the Vicente Calderon.

"We are there, he wants to come. But that is already complicated," Cerezo was caught saying on camera by Antena 3 Sports.

Additionally, Spanish publication AS indicates that Chelsea would want £39million for a player that cost them £32m two years ago, if they are to sell.
