Chelsea could be set for an injury nightmare that none of their fans would have expected.

The club are awaiting the results of scans on summer signing Romeo Lavia, who arrived from Southampton for a mega fee, per The Mail.

Lavia, who is only 19, is said to have suffered an ankle injury during a training session

The Blues already have injury woes, with Wesley Fofana out for most of the season.

Trevoh Chalobah and Christopher Nkunku are not fit either, while Reece James is out with a hamstring problem.
