Chelsea have joined the battle for Penarol winger Facundo Pellestri.
Calciomercato.com says Chelsea will compete with Manchester City, Manchester United and Juventus to sign Uruguayan winger Pellistri.
The 18-year-old has impressed at Penarol in Uruguay's top flight, and Juventus are believed to have sent scouts to watch him play.
Chelsea, though, are one of several clubs with considerable interest in the youngster, who has made 25 senior appearances.
Pellistri is under contract at Penarol until 2022, but reportedly has a release clause of £10million.
“Pellistri has huge potential," Penarol manager Diego Forlan has said. “We know it will be difficult to keep him for a long time. He has great pace and that is hard to handle."
