Chelsea have removed Olivier Giroud off their transfer list.

L'Equipe says the decision was made on Wednesday night that Giroud would not be allowed to leave before tonight's transfer deadline.

Inter Milan, Lyon and Barcelona have all been linked with the World Cup winner.

But with Chelsea struggling to find a striker signing of their own, they've decided to block Giroud from moving on.

The only chance of the veteran landing a new club today is if Chelsea find a replacement.
