Chelsea are chasing Newcastle United pair Tim Krul and Cheick Tiote for the summer market.
The Daily Mail says Chelsea could face competition from Liverpool and Manchester United for the signature of the Ivory Coast midfielder, who joined Newcastle from FC Twente for just £3.5m in the summer of 2010.
Dutch keeper Krul, aged 23, has caught the eye during his first full season at Newcastle.
