Chelsea No2 Ray Wilkins admits defender Branislav Ivanovic was a revelation last season.

The Serbia defender played his way into the PFA Team of the Year and was a key part of Chelsea's historic Double.

Wilkins told chelseafc.com: "What a season Branna has had.

"He has gone from being a backup player to one of the first names on the team sheet, such has been his form at right-back. His versatility is a huge asset to us and he fully deserved his place in the Premier League Team of the Season."
