Chelsea will pay a massive fee for Brighton scout Sam Jewell.

Jewell is set to join Chelsea and is currently on gardening leave at Brighton.

The Sun says Chelsea face having to pay a "six figure sum" in compensation to close the deal.

Jewell, 34, has been working in a head of recruitment role at Brighton.

He is the son of former Premier League manager Paul Jewell.
