Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher insists all the players were 'excited' when Graham Potter was appointed as Blues manager.
Gallagher is one of the players to benefit from Potter's arrival, featuring in all five games the 47-year-old has taken charge of so far.
The 22-year-old was used sparingly by Thomas Tuchel at the start of the season and was often used in a deeper midfield role when he did feature.
"Everyone was excited for the gaffer to come in," Gallagher told Sky Sports News. "The jobs he had before Chelsea, you could see he was a brilliant manager.
"All the players are very excited, we've got off to a good start and hopefully we can continue this."
