Chelsea have been informed about Bayern Munich's asking price for defender Benjamin Pavard.

The Blues are still looking to reinforce their back line, despite the arrival of Kalidou Koulibaly and the imminent signing of Jules Kounde.

Transfer expert Ekrem Konur reports that Pavard is someone who manager Thomas Tuchel may see as a replacement for departing captain Cesar Azpilicueta.

The source states that Bayern value the Frenchman at £30 million.

Pavard can play right-back, but may be used as a right-sided center-back by manager Tuchel.

He may also serve as an understudy to Reece James for the right-wing-back spot.
