Ashley Cole is being linked with a premature departure from AS Roma.
La Repubblica reports that the 33-year old left-back, who joined the Giallorossi on a free transfer after leaving Chelsea earlier this summer, could be on his way to MLS in January.
Expansion franchise Orlando City and Toronto FC are believed to be showing significant interest in the former England international but the fact he only just joined Roma and was handed a start by Rudi Garcia last weekend suggests he could stay in Rome for the foreseeable future.
Nonetheless, the rumours are rife that Cole could one day head to North America to finish his career although this winter seems a little early for that to occur.
