England coach Gareth Southgate is eyeing two rookies for their Euro2024 campaign.
Chelsea centre-back Levi Colwill has impressed on loan at Brighton, while Manchester City's Rico Lewis has caught the eye of the England manager following strong performances for the Premier League champions.
The Athletic says both Colwill and Lewis are under consideration for call-ups by Southgate for upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers against Italy and Ukraine in March.
It would be the first senior cap for either player, with Lewis, 18, yet to have represented the Three Lions at U21 level.
Colwill arrived at Brighton on loan from Graham Potter's Chelsea in August after spending last season on loan at Huddersfield, when the now Blues manager was still with the Seagulls.
