Chelsea are closing on a deal for Augsburg fullback Abdul Rahman Baba.
The Daily Mail says nothing has been agreed between Chelsea and Augsburg, but the Bundesliga club have been holding out for at least £15million from the Barclays Premier League champions.
There have been reports that Chelsea submitted a $25m (£17.5m) bid for Baba, but negotiations are still ongoing.
Chelsea previously had Manchester City and Arsenal as competition to sign Baba, who has 11 caps for Ghana, but west London remained the most likely destination throughout the summer.
