Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has concerns about summer signing Rome Lavia.

The midfielder recently returned to action for the Blues against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

However, Lavia saw his debut dampened by an injury that he sustained in his thigh near the end of the game.

After the 2-1 win, Pochettino told reporters: "I'm a little bit worried about Lavia. He finished with some issues, but I hope it's not a big issue."

Chelsea and Liverpool were in a tug of war to secure Lavia's signature in the summer.

The ex-Southampton man chose Chelsea after they put in the most substantial offer.
