Chelsea boss Ancelotti sends his players to new 'mind room'

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti wants his players to 'open their minds'.

The Daily Mail says Ancelotti is encouraging his Chelsea players to spend time in a 'Mind Room' at the club's training ground in the hope that it will help improve their calmness under pressure.

Blues stars such as John Terry, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba can go to the room and have their heart rates monitored as they watch anxious moments from past matches.

Some may draw comparisons with the film A Clockwork Orange - where a violent man is forced to watch destructive scenes until he is himself pacified - but Ancelotti said: "It allows players to improve resilience through mental training."
