Chelsea attacker Havertz: We'll bike to games if we have to

Chelsea attacker Kai Havertz admits the club's future is a day-to-day proposition.

Chelsea was seized by the UK government from owner Roman Abramovich, placing all employees in jeopardy, earlier this month.

Travel costs has been a big issue since Chelsea was placed into the government's control.

Havertz told BILD: “The situation is still confusing and constantly evolving. And honestly, at the end of the day, it doesn't matter if we have to take the bus for four hours or just fly for an hour.

"There are far more important things to think about right now than our travel expenses. Namely, how we can bring peace to Ukraine and help people on the ground.

"If necessary, as Thomas Tuchel has already said, we will even travel by bike."
