Charlton Athletic are swooping for Tottenham goalkeeper David Button.

The Mirror says Button is joining Championship new boys Charlton in a £500,000 swoop - and picking up a chunky pay-rise.

Button is saying goodbye to Spurs after seven years on the books but only EIGHT minutes of first-team action for the club.

Charlton boss Chris Powell is paying half of the fee up front and his contract offer is much more than Button is on at Tottenham.
