Championship trio rival Luton for Stewart

Championship teams are extremely eager to sign Sunderland forward Ross Stewart this summer.

The 27-year-old Scottish attacker is out of contract at the end of the 2023/2024 season.

Given he only has a year left on his deal, The Sun states that Sunderland will cash in on him.

Middlesbrough, Southampton and Stoke City are among the teams very eager to secure his signature. Premier League new boys Luton are also keen.

Stewart has been integral to Sunderland's successes in recent seasons, having scored at a rate of one goal in two games.

Stewart has managed 40 goals in 80 games in all competitions, along with eight assists, since arriving in January 2021 from Ross County.
