Celtic are looking to tie up striker Gary Hooper by opening talks regarding a new deal.
The 23-year old is beginning to attract interest from a number of clubs after scoring 25 goals in 38 Scottish Premier League matches since arriving from Scunthorpe United in the summer of 2010.
Celtic are desperate to keep him at Parkhead and want to sort out a new contract as soon as possible. The Hoops are prepared to reward Hooper with improved terms and are hoping he will extend his current deal which is already set to run until 2014.
