Celtic focused on Europe, not Rangers - Forrest

Celtic winger James Forrest insists the club is solely focused on qualifying for the Champions League rather than the current state of Scottish football.

The Hoops will get the chance to qualify for Europe's premier club competition proper in August after winning the Scottish Premier League title and Forrest has made it clear that the financial and administration plight of Glasgow rivals Rangers has no bearing on what is happening at Parkhead.

"We'll just focus on ourselves. Whatever happens over there happens," said Forrest.

"We'll just focus on a good pre-season and hopefully get into the Champions League.

"The fans want to see us win the league and we did that this year.

"I'm sure they want to come back next season and see that again and hopefully qualify for the Champions League as well. So I don't think that should be a worry."
