Catania have set AC Milan a deadline to push through a deal for Maxi Lopez.
While Milan are prepared to wait for Manchester City striker Tevez, Catania don't seem ready to wait for the Italian champions.
"There is an agreement that depends on certain factors," Catania director Pietro Lo Monaco told Sky Sport Italia.
"Lopez is a strong player and even he doesn't know his potential as a true centre-forward," the official continued.
"The fact that we made him available to Milan saw other clubs come forward. There is one other Italian outfit and two foreign sides after him.
"We'll wait a few days and then we'll see what happens.""We'll wait until December 31, but then other clubs will be given space to negotiate. Milan have another two days, then I think he'll go elsewhere.
