Catania coach Walter Zenga has backed Inter Milan's pursuit of Steaua Bucharest defender Mirel Radoi.

"Mirel is the best player that I have ever worked with," former Steaua boss Zenga declared.

"He is a true professional in all senses and as well as being an excellent defender he can adapt to play anywhere.

"If Inter do manage to sign him, Radoi would be a great buy."
