Michael Carrick hopes Manchester United teammates Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo have avoided serious injuries.
The pair were forced off the Old Trafford pitch during tonight's Europa League quarter-final second leg against Anderlecht, which ended in an extra-time victory thanks to Marcus Rashford's late winner.
Argentine defender Rojo fell awkwardly after a tackle and was replaced by Daley Blind on 23 minutes while star striker Ibrahimovic hyperextended his right leg when landing after an aerial duel, forcing him off for Anthony Martial in the 90th minute.
Veteran midfielder Carrick said of the duo: "It is disappointing.
"Hopefully it is not too serious because they are two big players for us."
