Cardiff send Runarsson back to Arsenal

Arsenal outcast Alex Runarsson is back at the club after leaving Cardiff City this winter.

The shot stopper was a Bluebird for the first half of the campaign, with his deal due to run to the end of the season.

However, the loan has been cut short, as he was understudy to No1 Jak Alnwick and only played six times.

Per The Telegraph, he is set for a move to Danish giants Copenhagen for the rest of the term.

The 28-year-old has been a Gunner since 2020, but has been on the periphery of the first team.

Runarsson only managed six games for Arsenal and is likely to be sold in the summer.
