Capello: AC Milan need more attack than Giroud

Former AC Milan coach Fabio Capello feels they lack a striker.

Capello believes they need more firepower beyond Olivier Giroud.

He said, “In Paris, Milan almost never entered the penalty area. Only once did they find themselves in front of the opposition goalkeeper with Pulisic, who then didn't make the right choice, he looked more for an easy goal with the central pass to Giroud instead of shooting.

“But Pulisic himself found himself there thanks to a long ball from Maignan. It's good to take advantage of the goalkeeper's distribution but it certainly can't become a strategy, it doesn't exist.

“It's a problem. But even more than Giroud, Milan are dependent on the left. They rely a lot on that wing and on the play of Hernandez and Rafa.

“And the problem now is that Theo doesn't change pace like he used to and Leao is like that, lazy but also unique with his ability to break and dribble. He needs to improve in front of goal, in shooting precision."
