Cannavaro: Kvaratskhelia must show respect to Napoli teammates

Italy World Cup winning captain Fabio Cannavaro says Victor Osimhen made the difference for Napoli last night.

Osimhen struck for the 1-1 draw with Barcelona in the first-leg of the Champions League round of 16 at the Maradona.

Cannavaro commented: "The defender was naive about Osimhen's goal, you have to wait and not go to the ground. He made two mistakes at the same time. Osimhen is a champion, a player who makes the difference and who makes the fortune of every coach.

"LewandowskI's goal? When a defender lets the ball pass between his legs, he kills his goalkeeper. The ball must never pass between his legs, it's the number one rule for defenders."

Cannavaro also commented on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's anger at being substituted.

"You must also have respect for your teammates who are entering the field and who train every day like you. A new coach perhaps also wants to give a chance to someone who is fresher. These attitudes, for a coach, are annoying."
