Notts County boss Ian McParland says Sol Campbell is edging closer to his debut.
Campbell, capped 73 times by England, has yet to play for the Magpies since joining the club last month.
But McParland believes the former Tottenham and Arsenal centre-half will make a big impact at Meadow Lane after he regains his match fitness.
McParland told the Nottingham Evening Post: "Sol is doing nicely, he's getting there. I can see every day in training he's getting closer, he will be a big player for us."
