Cameroon coach Clarence Seedorf admits he struggled to find support at AC Milan.
Seedorf had a short stint as Milan coach for the 2013/14 season.
“The advantage of being a great player lasts a week in the dugout. After that, substance is needed," the Cameroon boss told Mediaset.
“I recorded some excellent numbers. Milan were in trouble and I came to help him. I was very lonely during that period, but we nonetheless built a group to record some important numbers: we picked up 35 points in 19 games, with an acceptable style of play.
“I was ready to start the new season, but the club made other decisions. I wanted Inzaghi's luck of continuing to lose yet being able to stay on."
