Callum Marshall scores four as West Ham thrash Tottenham 8-0 in NexGen Cup

Callum Marshall scored four times as West Ham hit eight goals past Tottenham in the Premier League Next Generation Cup London on Saturday to win the tournament.

Marshall, whose hat-trick helped the Hammers storm back from 3-0 down to beat Crystal Palace in the semi-finals on Wednesday, went one better by scoring four times at Spurs Academy.

Elsewhere, South African team Stellenbosch FC defeated Leicester City 7-2 to win the Next Gen Cup Midlands.

The tournament saw eight clubs compete - four in London and four in the Midlands - including U21 teams from Indian Super League sides Kerala Blasters and Bengaluru FC and Stellenbosch, alongside Academy teams from West Ham, Tottenham, Crystal Palace, Leicester and Nottingham Forest.
