Callum Hudson-Odoi won't rush into new Chelsea deal

Callum Hudson-Odoi won't rush into a new deal with Chelsea.

The Daily Mail says Hudson-Odoi has no intention of rushing into signing a new Chelsea deal despite the Achilles injury that will keep him out of action for six months.

The 18 year-old was forced off just before half time on Easter Monday against the Burnley and will have surgery this week to repair the damage.

Injuries of this kind typically take nine months to heal but the England winger is hopeful of returning in six - meaning he would still be available for most of next season.

And the player is not in a hurry to sign an extension to his Chelsea deal which expires in 12 months time.
