The agent of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has paid tribute to the new African Player of the Year.

Osimhen was named the CAF Player of the Year on Monday.

Roberto Calenda was present last night in Marrakech for the award ceremony and paid tribute to the striker on social media.

"Congratulations Victor for winning the Caf award as best player of the year," posted Calenda.

"I'm proud of you. It is a recognition of the great work done. It's not the first and it won't be the last because the future is yours. Congratulations!!!"
