Former Everton midfielder Tim Cahill has left New York Red Bulls by mutual consent. The 35-year-old helped lead Australia to the Asia Cup last month and has decided to end his stay in MLS.
Cahill joined the Red Bulls in July 2012 and reports in Australia say Cahill could move to Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua in a deal worth £2million for one year.
