Barcelona face frustration in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund fullback Thomas Meunier.

Dortmund have already warned that they do not want to negotiate the sale of Meunier now although they will open the door for him in June, says Sport.

The Belgian is the most preferred alternative by the sporting department, directly endorsed by the sporting director Jordi Cruyff. He has excellent sporting and personal reports on the fullback.

Meunier's contract expires in 2024, so Dortmund will want to make some financial gain from his departure in the summer and the full-back would like to play for Barça.
