West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino has been invited to commit his international future to Burundi.
The Daily Mail says Berahino could be the subject of a tug of war after a delegation of officials contacted the youngster.
Having been born in Burundi's capital Bujumbura, and having spent the first ten years of his life in the war-oppressed country, the forward would still be allowed to switch allegiances.
Although he was called up to the Three Lions squad in November, he didn't win a cap and so under FIFA ruling he would still be allowed to change to the nation of his birth, who are currently 126th in the FIFA world rankings.
