York City prospect Vinny Steele is set to sign for Burnley.

The Mirror says Burnley are set to complete a move for York City starlet Vinny Steele this week.

The Clarets are free to open personal negotiations with Steele on Wednesday and are hopeful that a move can be completed by the end of

the week.

Steele, still just 16, moved to York from Darlington in February and has told the club of his desire to move on.

Burnley scouts have been tracking him for some time and officially submitted their approach last week.
