Burnley investigation launched after cheeky Everton fan gatecrashed Kompany's coaching room

Burnley have launched an investigation into an Everton fan gatecrashing their coaches' room.

A Toffees supporter was eventually led away by Clarets assistant manager Craig Bellamy before the two teams met at the weekend.

Everton won 2-0 at Burnley, marking the occasion of former Clarets boss Sean Dyche returning to his old club.

The Everton fan is said to have asked Burnley boss Vincent Kompany for a selfie.

He is not thought to have made any threats or caused any harm to any of the coaching staff.

The incident was seen on social media, with the fan smiling as he was led away by Bellamy.
