Burnley defender James Tarkowski is a doubt for England next week.

Tarkowski is a major doubt for the Three Lions' clash against Croatia after hobbling off with an injury in Burnley's clash against Cardiff.

The centre-back has been capped twice by the national team and was set to feature in England's clash against Croatia on October 12.

The injury will come as a blow to England boss Gareth Southgate, as well as Burnley manager Sean Dyche, whose team has had a poor start to the season.
