Crystal Palace are continuing to pursue a deal for Burnley boss Sean Dyche.

The Clarets hope they have the commitment of their long time manager as they look to progress under new ownership.

However, Palace are determined to find a quality replacement for departed boss Roy Hodgson.

According to The Guardian, Dyche is a serious contender for the job and Palace would like to hire him.

The issue is that Burnley would demand significant compensation for Dyche, while the manager himself would like a sizable transfer budget.

Dyche would only leave Burnley for a club that shows more ambition.
