Burnley boss Dyche: Newcastle fans cannot expect quick fix

Burnley boss Sean Dyche says Newcastle United fans cannot expect a quick fix.

The Clarets go to Newcastle on Saturday.

Dyche said: "It is not easy to change a culture, it is not flicking a switch believe me. It is about coaching, getting feel for trhe truth of your side and what it can achieve. Eddie has been in the game long enough to know all about that. But it takes time.

"Newcastle fans are incredibly demanding, but that is always there. They will be waiting to see what Eddie and his players can produce. There is a different feel to every ground. We have been around the Premier League long enough to know the atmosphere.

"It is a season's work. The next game is always most important, but it is the whole season that counts."

On his side's Carabao Cup win over Newcastle earlier this season, Dyche added: "A lot has changed since then. They have changed manager, lots of our players will be different. They will be looking at this differently and we will too.

"We have to make sure Saturday is about us. We want to take the game on and try to win games. We have that attitude and we will got to Newcastle looking for victory.

"We have an underbelly of positivity to what we do. Clean sheets and draws help reinforce that, but we know that wins will really help that to. That is the next stage, getting on the other side so we can win."
