Burnley boss Sean Dyche says fans must appreciate how competitive the Premier League now is.
Burnley sit 16th in the Premier League table, nine points clear of the relegation zone with just four games left, but boss Dyche is focused on securing a sixth straight season in the top flight as soon as possible.
"We've shown a strong mentality for a number of years," he said. "I always say the next one is the most important. We have four games to go and we focus on the next one.
"The mentality is to win every game, regardless of league position. We always go out with the intention of winning, but it's just not that easy. You're playing against very good sides, that's why they're in the Premier League."
Burnley meet Fulham on Monday night.
He added: "Fulham have had a topsy-turvy season which is often the story of a Premier League season. We want to take on the form we've got to turn Monday into a win."
