Burnley boss Sean Dyche is delighted with the preseason form of Dwight McNeil.
The winger has picked up where he left off with a superb strike in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Wigan capping an impressive pre-season programme.
“I'm really enjoying his performances," Dyche told the club's website.
“He's worked superbly in pre-season. I spoke to him the other day about seeing the picture quickly and he's doing that.
“The top players see the picture before everyone else and he's maturing with that.
“He's also working on transition quicker to get back into shape to go and press.
“They're things that make you a more complete player and he's showing really good signs.
“He should be pleased. He's having a good pre-season so far. He's fit and he's well and he looks hungry."
