Burnley boss Dyche aims to make it 5 unbeaten Old Trafford games against Man Utd

Burnley boss Sean Dyche says they must be at their best at Manchester United today.

The Clarets are unbeaten in four games away to Manchester United, including three draws and last season's stunning 2-0 win.

“We've had a few good results there in recent seasons, but it's still an incredibly difficult place to go," said the Burnley boss.

“United are in good form again this season, having put a lot of wins together and being unbeaten in 23 or so.

“They're a good outfit, and you have to go there are respect them, for sure. But when the whistle blows, respect goes out of the window and that's how I want my team to think.

“It was great for our fans last year and a great day. Those things mean a lot around here, and it's good to be beat Manchester United away, to beat Liverpool away and to beat Arsenal away because that doesn't happen very often, but we've showed we can do it.

“You often need a quiet day for them and us to perform well against these type of sides. Last time they maybe had a soft one and we capitalised with a good win, so we have to get our performance right."

Dyche added: “You would always take the odd lucky win along the way, but I like the idea of performing right to win and we've done that for quite a long period.

“The last two show you that you just can't have lapses in the Premier League."
