Celtic target Jimmy Bullard wants current club Hull City to give him a £2million pay-out and then let him leave on a free transfer.
The former Fulham midfielder is keen to quit the relegated Tigers but will require a severance package to do so.
Hull may be keen to partake in Bullard's proposed dealings as it will rid them of his £45,000-a-week wages but on the flipside the financially battling club will not receive a transfer fee if he becomes a free agent.
Bullard is also being linked with a move to promotion winners Newcastle United.
