Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce claims the club's loanees will get a chance to earn a permanent stay.
Danny Rose, Nabil Bentaleb and Valentino Lazaro are three players the club has until this season concludes.
With the Magpies all but safe from relegation, it is time to start thinking about next season.
And Bruce will give these players a fair chance to impress.
"Danny played three or four on the spin and physically, that took its toll on him but he'll play against City," Bruce told reporters.
"They have all been hampered by the shutdown so we haven't seen a lot of them but I think they have all added something to us in terms of competition.
"We will see how their performances are over the next five games in particular.
"Bentaleb looks in far better condition now than he did when he arrived and hes been excellent when he's played.
"Lazaro took time to get up to speed but certainly in the last week to ten days, he looks as though he is where he should be."
