Brisbane Roar set to welcome back Reinaldo

Brazilian striker Reinaldo is set to make a return to the Brisbane Roar first team after experiencing plenty of injury difficulties this season.

The 25-year old goalscorer is fully fit for the first time this season and is excited about taking on the Wellington Phoenix at Westpac Stadium on Saturday.

"I'm looking foward to getting out there and helping the team turn things around on the pitch," Reinaldo said.

"I have been working very hard with Serge on some things and I hope to score some goals to help us get the three points."

Reinaldo said one factor that could thwart the Roar strikers could be former goalkeeper Liam Reddy who joined the Phoenix late last year.

"He knows how we play and we know how he plays," he added. "So we will be looking to score past him in the ways we know how.

"This is a very important match so I hope the strikers win us the match."

Saturday's match between Wellington Phoenix and Brisbane Roar kicks off at 4pm (AEST) at Westpac Stadium and will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 1 HD.
