Brighton are being linked with a shock move for Huddersfield midfielder Aaron Mooy.

The Socceroos star could be set to return to the English top flight if the move goes ahead on transfer deadline day.

Mooy is a long-time target for Brighton and they hope to add him to their squad for the coming season, per The Argus.

It is unclear how much Huddersfield would demand for a transfer or if they would be willing to part with him at all.

The Seagulls may also have to sell one or two players before they can fit Mooy into their squad.
