Brighton striker Deniz Undav says they're new players have settled quickly.

Bart Verbruggen, Joao Pedro and Mo Dahoud all featured in yesterday's preseason defeat to Chelsea.

“The biggest takeaway from the game is that the new players are fitting into the team really well and quite quickly," said Undav.

"As a team you could see that our mentality was really good, we came back against Chelsea from three goals down with one man less.

“We had some good actions after the red card and we had a lot of changes, we reacted really well to the situation and you could see that the new players understood the system already. I think we will improve, We know what we have to do, we have a lot of quality."
